A year after I failed an audition for Nigel Fairs' My mother was an alien, is that why I'm gay? He phoned me saying 'I've written a part for you, would you like to come and do it?' I thought he was probably just talking me up, but no - and it fit me like a glove. Having met me about three times he seemed to have identified my personality to a tee... It went down very well, selling out every night, so we did it all again eight months later.  Back to Theatre |
